The prompt for last week was ‘sef-control’ and I am afraid I have to confess that I had difficulty practicing self-control when doing this roundup, because once I have narrowed down my choices, I just couldn’t choose between the last four. So, instead of a top 3, you get a top 4… which easily also could’ve been a top 10, because there were just so many posts I really liked!
Just checking: are you on Blogable yet?
Top 3 for week 433 by Marie Rebelle
So, my top 4 in no particular order…
Magnificat by Eve Ray
The moment I started reading this, I was hooked. I’m always intrigued by erotic fiction that plays off around religion — in fact, I really like it! — and Eve’s writing is so good, that this piece was stunning from beginning to end!
Purge by Carolyna Luna
Traumatic things that happened in our youth influence our actions and reactions in later life. Reading about Carolyna’s childhood experiences, and how she hard she works to make a good life for her kids, what she has done for her parents and brothers, but also how she forgets about herself… it touched my heart, and provoked many personal thoughts.
This mom is back! by Francesca Demont
In this post it wasn’t only the words that caught my eye, but the darn sexy 2 second clip that Francesca shared with us. She’s back where she wanted to be, and I have a suspicion we are going to see a lot more sexy stuff from this mom in the coming weeks!
Fiction as Self Control? by Elk Vilianni
Elk is new to Wicked Wednesday – this is her second post – and I just love what she has done here, analyzing the first story she has shared using the Jung archetypes. It’s intriguing to read, and a reason why I couldn’t leave Elk’s post out of my roundup!
A family heirloom is any treasured item that’s been passed down by a family member who has died. … Family heirlooms can be many generations old, passed from parent to child for centuries. Or they can be newer, something inherited from a parent or grandparent that will be passed along in the future.~ 21 Most Common Family Heirlooms
Do you have a family heirloom? Or maybe more than one? What is it, and why is it a heirloom?
As always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!
