Prompt #419: Feminism

It’s incredible to think it’s more than two years ago that Elliott did the roundup for Wicked Wednesday for the last time! I am delightful to welcome him back, and not only because he has been a big support over the years. Elliott shares posts of people that don’t have their own blogs, and lots of sexy images of himself. You can read and see those on his blog, or follow Elliott on Twitter.

Top 3 for week 418 by Elliott Henry

I enjoyed reading all of the Truth posts this week. Some very thoughtful, some soul bearing and all showing the diverse range of responses to a prompt. My love is fiction and that is where I have found my three favorite stories. I would love to give Howie my vote, but that would be poor form.

In the Realm of the Sensei 14 by Jerusalem Mortimer
I always enjoy the interesting situations and delightful bottoms displayed in ‘Between the Lines’, but I really take note when Jaime writes fiction. Like this story of a lazy schoolgirl standing in a corner of the classroom with a stinging bottom. Not a smutty story, but a sexual tension nonetheless. Delightfully illustrated, as always.

Truth be told by Lord Raven
I was not familiar with ‘Raven Nest’ but immediately struck by the stark foreboding image at the start. As I started reading I realized that the lines were rhyming and found myself getting into an epic poem. I read in fascination a tale of BDSM, so strange and engrossing. Not always a big poetry fan, I did enjoy this piece very much.

Atonement – Sex, lies & a dirty deed or two by May More
A writer of good smut, but more importantly a clever story, May tells a tale of a man’s betrayal and what happens after he is forced to tell the truth. I always enjoy a story that starts with an action and then goes back in time to flesh out what has brought this about, and I loved the format she used.

Prompt

Quite simply, feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities.

What is Feminism?

Another quote from the linked website is the answer to the question: ‘Can anyone be a feminist?’
The answer is: Yes! Being a feminist simply means believing in equal rights for all genders. It’s not about hating men. It’s not about women being better than men. It’s not about eschewing femininity.

For this week’s prompt, share your thoughts on feminism, and as always, you are welcome to link any stories or posts that don’t follow the prompt!

The roundup for this week’s prompt will be done by Eve Ray.
