Prompt #285: Geography

Exhibit A is one of the few male sex bloggers around and one who has quite a talent for writing. He also posts lovely images and occasionally hosts writing competitions.
You can read his words on his blog or follow him on Twitter.

Top 3 by Exhibit A

I really enjoyed the variety on show in response to this week’s prompt! A lot of thought and imagination clearly went into a number of these stories, and it was extremely tough to whittle down the list of 20 submissions to just 3 – thanks to Marie for having me, and apologies to all the great writers who narrowly missed out…

The Bell, by Nina B

In a mere 125 words, Nina told a story packed with both eroticism and pathos – a rare skill, and one on this occasion that I admired almost as much as I enjoyed. Her use of language evoked a mood and a setting that felt instantly recognisable, and unmistakably real.

The Uncalled For Call, by Scandarella

I’m a big fan of Ella’s writing, and this sexy, surprising story is no exception. It blends filth and wit, the twist is executed in a really satisfying way, and you always feel like you’re in the hands of an accomplished storyteller.

His Voice In My Ear Does Things To Me, by Kayla Lords

I love it when Kayla writes about these sweet little details of her relationship with John! This post says so much about the sexual dynamic between them, but also makes clear how that’s underpinned by a level of love, trust, and affection that you know will stand the test of time. Lovely piece of writing.

Prompt

Look at the map of the world and ask yourself where you have experienced love and lust. Have you traveled across continents to be with the one you love or to seek love? Are you in love with someone that is geographically far away from you? How does that influence your life? Or, if you are one of the lucky ones who have found love where you have been born and raised, write a story about lovers who are separated by an ocean.

The top 3 for this week’s prompt will be done by Eye.
