Dear Diary… how many times in your life have you written those words when keeping a journal? There are as many answers to this question as there are people who participated last week. As usual, some used the prompt for a personal post, others or fiction and yet others didn’t use the prompt at all. This is what makes Wicked Wednesday so much fun to join… the diversity of the posts. It’s not always easy to pick a top 3 or to explain why a specific post has made it to my top 3, but here they are:
Savannah’s Sunday Diary by Stranded in Toronto
He has done this before, had an interview with Savannah, the main character in his trilogy. I loved it the last time and I loved it again now. Stranded is a very talented writer!
Corporal Punishment – with a twist – Part 2 by Pain As Pleasure
Reading this second part of a real life experience makes you feel as if you were there, watching the scene unfold. I shivered when I read about the cane strokes, but longed to have at least half a scene like this.
Dear Diary ~ over my shoulder in 140 chars or less by Understanding Flutterby
It’s no secret that I am a fan of Flutterby’s writing and this post is no exception. Love and respect, that’s what it’s all about. That, and dominance and submission. Beautiful!
This week’s prompt was a suggestion of Charlie Powell: blood.
So… blood… write and share your sexy or scary stories.
- The rules for this meme can be found here and you can download the Wicked Wednesday badge on the same page.
