I didn’t think I would be able to do the top 3 posts for last week’s prompt, but I found some time before we left for our celebration weekend away. Last week’s prompt was all about chance meetings. There were true stories and fiction and all of them were good. The next three posts made it to my top 3 for different reasons:
Study Break by Melina Greenport
I absolutely adore libraries and I would lie if I say that thoughts of some kind of sexiness have never crossed my mind when I wandered through the racks of books. There is just something about the books, the smell, the silence that’s so… well… erotic! Melina has done a great job with this piece of fiction, describing what can happen in a library.
Mere Days by Cammies on the floor
I think many of the people in a relationship cannot imagine how hard it must be to be separated from the love of their life for longer periods of time. Over and over again. Sister M of the Cammies describes a scene between her and her husband when they met for a brief time. Her words are emotional, filled with love and longing and it touched my heart.
Rub-A-Dub-Dub by Molly’s Daily Kiss
I’ve had the privilege to meet Molly and have the privilege to call her a friend. She’s passionate about her camera and passionate about helping others, and when she can combine the two, something wonderful happens. This post is evidence of that, where she’s out with a blogging friend in the woods, taking pictures, having fun and enjoying a blossoming friendship.
I think there’s no need for me to give you any ideas for this prompt, except asking: where is your happy place?
(Please make your stories no longer than 1200 words.)
