Last week I gave a simple prompt: ‘two’. Once again I was surprised at the incredible creativity of the writers. It’s lovely to see that some people used the prompt for a real-life story and others for fictions. All the posts were good, making it difficult again to come to a top 3. I have chosen the posts that touched me the most.
Wicked Wednesday #14 – Two by Horny Geek Girl
Cheryl used the prompt to show us the two sides she knows she has, and how the one influences the other, sometimes positively and sometimes not. She comes to a very important conclusion, as you can read in her last sentence.
Undercovers by sub-Bee
sub-Bee too used the prompt to share something from real life. In this case she showed how powerful some words of parents can be, when spoken in our youth. Unfortunately the power of those words are not always positive, giving us ‘issues’ as adults. Thankfully we come to a point where we recognize this and can do something about it, as sub-Bee is going to do.
Tiny, Shiny, Bity Snaps of Steel… by Tamsin Flowers
I was totally drawn in by the words in this post. Every word described exactly how I feel when clamps bit down on any part of my body. This piece is beautifully written and almost poetic.
Have you ever had an unexpected meeting that for months, or maybe years after you still remember it? Was it a sexy meeting? Why do you still think about it? Was it a positive meeting, negative, funny, sad? Share your stories for Wicked Wednesday.
(Please make your stories no longer than 1200 words.)
